Hello
The actual version
I use the standard settings
Iso´s

SMT Nocturne, SMT Digital Devil Saga, Dark Cloud 1-2, DOT hack, Jack&Daxter, Devil May Cry, Jade Cocoon

And I need to apologize. I planned to buy next week a laptop. I can´t decide between the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-791G-57UF with the spec´s I writte above or the Acer Aspire VN7-591G-590D .
The Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-791G-57UF have a 17,3" Display with GTX 840M. And the Acer Aspire VN7-591G-590D have a 15,6" Display with 860M. I can´t decide which one I should buy because I never had one but I think I take the small one with better specs.
So please keep in mind that it have a GTX 860M.

You need software mode to play jak and Dexter properly. And, I think your gpu can handle those other games around 2X-4X native resolution.

SMT is best played in software mode, but that's just my opinion.

The other games should not run too badly.

I have got the exact same laptop
except mine is from dell
try playing games in hardware opengl
gives me 58 to 60fps in most games without speed hacks
use the avx plugin

I get my Aspire V Nitro VN7-791G-57UF my it was just too big 17,3" is way too big for me.
So is order the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-571G-56N0 with 15,6"
It have the same specs:

NVIDIA GeForce 840M
RAM 8GB

Exept for the CPU it is a little bit lower:

Intel Core i5-5200U 2.20GHz

But I can still play with it, right?

Hey people, long time no see
Here finally is my laptop
(13.3") WQHD (2560*1440) Non-Glare IPS-Panel
. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2048MB GDDR5
. Intel Core i7-4710MQ - 2,50 - 3,50GHz 6MB 47W
. 8GB (1x8192) SO-DIMM DDR3 RAM 1600MHz Crucial
But I have problems with 2x Native the frame rate get down for example by special attack´s in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne and the game Airblade is unplayable with 2x Native
What can I do? I don´t want to spend 800€ for this. Maybe it´s because of the Prozessor? I still can get a i5 @ 2,9 GHz. Whats better i7 with 2,5 GHz or a i5 with 2,9 GHz
