PCSX2 hard crashes opening games, not responding on Settings

I've updated my graphics drivers and tried multiple different versions of PCSX2, and seemingly every version from 1.7 onwards has this issue.
Any time I try opening a game, the application hangs for a couple seconds before closing without making a log. If I try going to the settings, the application becomes unresponsive and has to be closed from the task manager.
Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? I've looked around the forums and found people with somewhat similar problems, but none of those solutions have been applicable to my situation.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 32GB
OS: Windows 11

Are you running any programs that modify windows explorer, like OldNewExplorer?

Not that I can think of, I looked through my program lists and can't find anything that would fit that description.

I've been using an 8bitdo SN30pro, but even with it unplugged the app still crashes.
