PCSX2 keeps crashing while trying to play Onimusha: Warlords

Hey guys, new to the forum and the PCSX2

Trying to play Onimusha Warlords and the game runs perfectly until it eventually stops and crashes (often not a minute into emulation).

Specs:
CPU: Intel i7-7700HQ @2.8 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GDDR5 @ 6.0 GB (192-bit)
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 10

PCSX2: 
Version: v1.6.0
Special settings: I'm using a DualShock 4 to play and it works with lilypad, I can access the start menu and skip cutscenes, etc.
BIO: It's a US bio, and it seems to be compatible with the OW ISO

I'm not sure what the ideal settings or plugins are for this game specifically, everything was left on default since I booted up PCSX2.
I'd appreciate any help, let me know!

tried using yuour original disc instead of iso ?
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

The whole point of this was to nor have to use my PS2 stuff disk/console
I want every part of this build to be on PC and digital, if I can help it

of course. but i was trying to determine where the problem could come from

lets say i dont have access to the disk, I could try to DL a different IOS and see if that changes anything. would that be comparable?

definitely not. you clearly need the disk
