PCSX2 runs 10 mins and then freezes

Each time i played soul calibur 3 it went for like 10 minutes and then my entire pc froze and it happened many times. Also tried with other games and the same result i even reinstalled PCSX2 and still the same.
Is it a PCSX2 problem or my computer's problem

probably a computer problem, sounds like overheating.

download coretemp http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ and run it while running pcsx2.

can you please post your pc specs too ?

Before starting the pcsx2 i played xcom on pc with coretemp on to compare the values. Xcom had near 70 degrees with no problem, no lag and pcsx2 games had 60-65 degrees with no lag or bug but still froze the computer
