PCSX2 suddenly running at 25-35 FPS

Yes. It is laggy and freezes as soon as I start running the game

use Coretemp to monitor them effectively

Yes. I never had any issues with the emulator until today

As of right now its about 40-42c

that's very low, especially for an AMD CPU.
same when running a game in pcsx2 ?

Before I had any issues running anything, I was running games in PCSX2 at about 58c

Check to see if anything else is using your CPU at the same time as a windows update may have added something for example

My cpu temp was like 48c when I was running PCSX2 but my FPS was at around 25. Im very confused why it suddenly stopped going to 60 with the same exact games and settings lol
