I also installed the more recent HDA drivers from this PPA. They have an increased performance over the standard drivers, regarding latency at least.

had it already installed when I tried PCSX2. But prior to that in Retroarch emulator there were latency issues. At 60 ms sound was garbled. But after upgrade to that driver, it was fixed.

Regarding PCSX2, default latency was at 80-90 ms I think and sound was delayed. At 75 ms problem was solved. At 40 ms there isnt any issue either.

Also compiled and installed latest SDL2 libraries for better performance
