PCSX2 v 1.1.0 codes loaded but not working
#1
I am having trouble getting my codes to work been at this for about 7 hours, I have tried using omniconvert, as well as PCSX2CE to make a proper pnach file. this is what I have so far

gametitle=Final Fantasy X (NTSC-U) [SLUS-20312] (U) [F0800C1E]
comment=Codes
//Max Gil
patch=1,EE,2031A028,extended,05F5E0FF
//Al bhed translation
patch=1,EE,20319FF0,extended,03FFFFFF
//tidus 99 blitzball
patch=1,EE,0031789A,extended,000000FF
//infinite item use
patch=1,EE,101BECEA,extended,0000A266
patch=1,EE,401BECA4,extended,00800001
patch=1,EE,64646464,extended,00000000

These were all converted through omniconvert and then through PCSX2CE and set up this way. I made sure I am using US codes for the U version and my CRC code is correct for filename

this is my log.

I'm not a master of this, but especially the infinite item one doesn't look raw.

What are your source cheat codes?

The item one I got from US codejunkies, the other two from this site on the List your patch files as well yea I read about all raw codes should start with 0 or 2.

I just tried another method as well where I changed any of my codes that start with 2 to 0, did not resolve it.

It seems no problem about the cheats.
At least Max Gil and Al bhed translation are the same as mine and they worked. (I didn't use other ones)

FFX sometimes crashes during applying cheats. I don't recommend to use cheats for FFX.
If you don't stick to the pnach method, there is a useful tool FFXED: Final Fantasy X Save Editor.

Edit: There are 3 parts of cheats for Al Bhed Primer.

(a) Flags of internal. (The cheats of #1 post)
(b) Collected counts. (A ~ Z : Max 26)
© Flags of Key Items.

The cheats of #1 post is only (a).

Here is a perfect example of Al Bhed Primer.

// Al Bhed Primer : Flags of internal
patch=1,EE,20319FF0,extended,03FFFFFF

// Al Bhed Primer : Collected counts
patch=1,EE,00316F2C,extended,0000001A

// Al Bhed Primer : Flags of Key Items
patch=1,EE,7031A76C,extended,000000F0
patch=1,EE,7031A76D,extended,000000FF
patch=1,EE,7031A76E,extended,000000FF
patch=1,EE,7031A76F,extended,0000003F

P.S. Type 7 code is also supported by the pnach method.

What are your source cheat codes?

Type 4 code itself is no problem and the pnach method supports it.

Starting with the address specified by aaaaaaa, this code will write to xxxx addresses. The next address is determined by incrementing the current address by (yyyy * 4). The value specified by dddddddd is written to each calculated address.

For example, the first cheats mean the second cheats.

Odd, I don't know if the CRC can change within the same region, I have the NTSC (U/C) version as well but my CRC is BB3D833A. This is also the cheats_ws CRC that comes out with the SVN builds. Those cheats you have I also have and they work fine.

Yes, the CRC can be different. Say for the greatest hits version, if it's more than just a reprint.
