PCX2 wont run after directx update
#1
I have an ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 and an AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor.

When I first installed PCX2 I cancelled the DirectX update because I have a slow connection and I did not want to wait a couple of hours to play. The gsdx 4600 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.16 would not work. I could, however, get PCX2 to run with the gsNull driver. I updated my DirectX to try and fix the video driver program and now the program crashes whenever I try to open it. What I do when it crashes is I configure my drivers then try to continue but the program closes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What drivers are you trying to configure? Could you post the content of emulog.txt after you get the crash in PCSX2?

I'm trying to configure the video driver. I'm using the wizard dealie and there is no contents of emulog.txt because it crashes when it's applying the settings.

Try installing to another location like C:\PCSX2 or using the binary package:
