Hi people!!!!
I have a problem with an old PS2 memory card. Here's the story.
I have made a backup of the momery card on a USB stick with the new freeDVDmcboot tool, on a PS2 Slim.
The content of the PSUPASTE folder that I got is the following:
BEDATA-SYSTEM.psu PSU 5,500 KB
BESCES-50294GAMEDATA.psu PSU 95,500 KB
BESCES-509821.psu PSU 41,000 KB
BESCES-52460AYBABTU!.psu PSU 1,035 MB
BESLES-539088de_1.psu PSU 149,000 KB
BESLES-54307.psu PSU 424,000 KB
BESLES-54442.psu PSU 227,500 KB
BESLES-54488SD8_0.psu PSU 535,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8000.psu PSU 439,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8010.psu PSU 803,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8020.psu PSU 347,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8030.psu PSU 803,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8040.psu PSU 803,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8050.psu PSU 347,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8060.psu PSU 443,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8080.psu PSU 116,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8090.psu PSU 116,000 KB
BESLES-54914P2K8OPT.psu PSU 1,128 MB
I have copied the whole folder on my PC.
Then I created a new empty memory card on PCSX2 1.4.0 (MMC number 2), I formatted it within the PCSX2 boot menu.
I opened the Mcd002.ps2 with mymc-alpha 2.6 and imported THE WHOLE content of the PSUPASTE folder with no errors.
I booted PCSX2 with no ISO in and checked the MMC2 just filled with the browser. There was every single file of the above list with the original time and date.
I later loaded the game ISO (just created using the original PS2 disc with IMGBURN) and when the game had to read the MMCs it first loads MMC1, then skips to MMC2 and, RELATED TO MMC1 (not the one where my PSUPASTE folder was imported) it sais this:
"The option file has not been loaded. Save these data overwriting the original options file or create a new options file"
What if I load the PSUPASTE folder on the MMC1 file? Well, it works perfectly.
Is there any way to make it work from MMC2? I have even tried to copy MMC1 to MMC2 from the PS2 boot menu. It does not work at all.
