I have to admit now that i "slightly" blagged the response, but it was an educated one. Nachbrenner was the king of patching back when he was active, so it made sense that it was named after him (i mean what else could the nach part mean right?) and i presumed the p is patch, because, well.. it IS a patch after all.

But the answer makes whole sense and explain the otherwise unexplainable.
