SCPH-90001.bin, I believe would be the American v02.30 PS2 BIOS. You see, Sony uses a different Bios file for NTSC-U/C, PAL,and NTSC-J consoles. But the Emulator tells you what Bios you have to use; for example here's a list of the American BIOS that I use. (the 2nd one is the current one that I use)
SCPH-39001.bin/v01.60/USA/2002
SCPH-70012.bin/v02.00/USA/2004
I am looking for a copy of the American Bios v02.30 (SCPH-90001.bin), well I'll find it someday. I'll just use v02.00 for now.^^ lol

well, as long as you own both consoles thats just fine.

alot of people import other region's consoles so they don't have to screw around with mod chips.

If you mean you're looking for it on the net, you're wasting your time. I don't know why but the BIOS of SCPH-9000x PS2 is nowhere to be found even on torrent sites. I spent several days looking for one but failed. So I do not expect you much.

Anyway, the BIOS version does not matter, unless you have a very ancient version (SCPH-1000x) which is not supported by PCSX2.

(As mentioned in my previous post in this thread, I already have both SCPH-90001 and 90006 BIOSes. Don't accuse me downloading them.)

Nevermind, the.nvm file is an PS2 BIOS file.^^ I got v02.30 on PSCX2 1.0.0.^^ lol
The NVM loads in the Emulator as an BIOS. (I tested this myself)
