Ok, I'm found some PS2 CD-ROM games that can run well:

Star trek: Encounters (U)
Simple 2000 Series: The Kung Fu (J)

But i'm find some of the games that only shows intros:

Ford Street Racing (E)
Alarm For Cobra 11 Vol.2: Hot Pursuit (E)

Why the games must be on CD,don't you have DVD reader?
Or are you thinking that CD games will run better than games on DVD?

Precisely because most PS2 dvd games that i have always run very slow! I'm think cd-rom games would be much better for low-end pc's

Try making an ISO of the DVD with imgburn. Then mount the image and use "Z" or "BZ" compression to speed up the data transfer times even more.

The media games come on doesn't reflect the burden they'll be on your system when emulated Tongue2

I have couple of CD games that it's real pain to play them and other DVD games that I can get 60fps all of the time(with hacks Tongue2 even on my pc)

btw is it normal some games to run faster on SW mode than HW on my PC.
On Okage if I don't enable 8 bit texture,it will take all of my remaining ram(~700mb)and when I use SW mode I get 10fps boost.
