PS2 Four joypads adapter through usb?

Hey there, I have a USB adapter to connect a PS1 or PS2 dualshock, and I was wondering if I connect my four way adapter to connect 4 joypads if it would work. I tried it and the joypads do turn on, can see it through the analog button light, but I can't seem to configure them, only the joypad that it's connected to the first port "A" (joypad 1) is configurable, the other 3 I can't configure, though they are on.

Now to the question, do you guys know if there's any tool or whatsoever, to configure and play with 4 joypads adapter from the PS2? Or if I want to play with three other players I need keyboard + 3 different pc joypads?
