PS2 ISO compressing

Currently only gz is supported.

Compression can have an impact on performance if:
1. you are running the game on the limit (cpu bottleneck)
2. the game has a lot random access (Shadow of the Colossus)

Ok, thanks for the info. Would this be a safe way for me to convert my games from 7z to gz? https://cloudconvert.org/7z-to-tar.gz

Also, do you guys feel that it will speed up loading times enough to be worth it??

Just extract them with 7zip and use 7zip to recompress them as Gzip.

It doesn't really speed up load times too much. You may or may not notice it. It will save you a good bit of space though.

Hi and maxcso_v1.9.0 is a great software for compressing ps2 games to cso format. Which works fine.
