PS2 Linux .... on PCSX2
#11
Most recent debug build I could find was one from April 2014. I'm not setup to compile PCSX2 myself, so if a newer version would be helpful, one would have to be made available.

See the complete emuLog. Spoilers: it does yield more info.

And just for the record, with the debug build and gigaherz' dev9 plugin enabled it didn't hang right after loading the kernel, and only started to hang once it got to loading the PS2 IDE DMA driver. That might be worth looking into further.

Alright. If someone can upload a recent debug build, I'll run it again. That's probably faster than me setting up VS and figuring out how to do it myself. Which is assuming it builds with VS Community? Although there's always the trial for VS Ultimate, I suppose.

I'll look at it tomorrow.

Alright, here's a fresh log.

Interestingly, GSdx debug version throws a bunch of failed assertion errors when Linux tries to set up the console. Using a release version instead gets around it.

Random/wired register must be implemented otherwise you overwrite os tlb entry... I think it is easy to do check file pcsx2/COP0.cpp

Wired register is "named" 6
Random register is "named" 1
