I can say from experience that I have used motioninjoy for 100+ hours and never once have I experienced any troubles getting anything to work I tried scarlets driver and immediately had difficulty getting it to work even following the step by step instructionsWacko

Aside from the fact that 1. It's basically adware and 2. The ENTIRE program is a poorly written mess? If you can't get scarlet's driver to work, then that's on your end. You're obviously doing something wrong.

Make sure you follow this post first: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...#pid256377 (on a side note, that should really be in the OP) and then move the XInput1_3.dll from the Win32 folder in the bin directory into PCSX2's root folder.

Use this: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Pokopom-K...Pad-Plugin - instead of lilypad and you don't even have to bind any buttons, it works without you having to do much at all.

Haha I've been using motioninjoy for years and I never had any problems with it. Never had any data leaks when I used it on Vista 32bit, never had any on my current Win 7 64bit. The only issue I had was the rumble not working on any 32bit applications (like PCSX2) but I fixed that with ease.

As for adware, I don't use the online version, I use the offline version. No problem there.

I'll probably try out this Skarlet or whatever driver later though.

I read up on motioninjoy problems and one of the problems that came up after extended periods of use was the inability or trouble using different drivers that use bluetooth even after uninstalling motioninjoy (this could explain why I had problems with scarlet's driver) any ideas on how to fix this?

The problem with motioninjoy driver uninstallation is that it still leaves behind some files in the registry. Try using some type of registry sweeper or something to get rid of them. I remember I had that problem when I was on Vista with a bad version of the program.

As far as I'm aware, it does. If not, you can use the LilyPad included with scarlet's download. It's modified so that it supports his driver natively.
