PS3 controller won't be detected

My PS3 was detected at first with PSCX2 but I couldn't figure out how to actually use it with any games. I found this forum that linked me to XInput Wrapper and tried to use it (I'm a bit confused as to how to use it still, my controller won't be picked up) but now my PS3 won't get picked up at all anymore after I installed it. I'd love help on how to know how to get it detected again and how to set the controls up to play games on the emulator. I just started trying to use this emulator today as well.
