PS4 controller has buttons binded in options, dont work in game
#1
I have been trying to get this working all morning but no luck. Pretty much what I have done is I have binded all the buttons in the GamePad settings, as you can see in the picture I attached, but when I load up GTA: SA none of the buttons or analog sticks work, I am so frustrated as I just want to play my gameĀ  Angry

It is a regular PS4 controller that I have plugged in with a USB. I also attached the general tab picture

ok.
it won't work natively unless you use a wrapper.
Steam is advised

some middleware that will let your DS4 act as an xinput controller.
this way, pcsx2 will recognize it
of course, don't foget to untick "directinput (legacy)" in "general" tab, and remap all your keys

Ok, I unchecked the direct input option and then remapped my buttons with DS4. It was all going well until when I booted the game up, then DS4 randomly disconnected my controller, even tho the light bar was still using the color I selected in DS4. If I unplug then plug back in my controller it shows up again, and to test I waited a few minutes and it didn't disconnect, only when I start the game it disconnects.
