I found a widescreen code for Castlevania: Simphony of the night for both the Sega Saturn and Playstation, it obviously only affect 3D objects, so it is kind of useless unless someone manages to make the game render more stuff on both sides.

Yes, it's useless. The main environment consists of rectangles that do not scale. The only thing is that the picture is rendered under black stripes, which I recently removed (for PSX): link

@paul_met I have to say your Castlevania SotN hack is amazing for a 4:3 CRT monitor, like the one I use. I always thought it was weird that this game had those black bars, even on a NTSC(U) console. I originally had played it on ePSXe with square pixels, so it was an even smaller image, but now I can finally play it fullscreen, at the correct aspect ratio, no distortion, and 240p (120hz still, but better than scanline imitation filters XD)!. So thank you for making it!
