nope. the second one is a zoom in without graphics glitches on the side compared to the first one

Thanks that worked! It looks like it was another one of those situations where it needed a conditional code? Similar to Hokuto No Ken NTSC J. Seems like that first widescreen code still has clipping though.

Really cool to see all these updates!
I'm not sure if those new codes for Metal Gear Solid (Greatest Hits) will work with the Japanese-only special rerelease version, Metal Gear Solid Integral, but I'll be happy to give it a try here soonish, and report back.
