i thought those games just used vert- or equivalent. for a lower quality variation you could probably adjust all of the sprites and tiles in ROM and adjust spacing amounts

Any chance you can find a clipping fix code fix for Driver 2 v1.0 NTSC U and v1.1 if possible? Or a method you are familiar with that works good for you. I saw on the archive you also found the widescreen codes for Crash Bandicoot series. Do those have clipping fixes? Including even the Spyro widescreen codes you just posted.

Any other modifiers anyone else is aware of that can be searched for to find widescreen codes?

Konami games always seem to be so difficult to find codes for. I'm currently trying to find a widescreen code for Metal Gear Solid VR Missions NTSC U.
So far this is the only address I've found that adjusts the horizontal aspect ratio, but only for the environment. Looks like misc objects, NPCs and Snake are all separate codes. Was the original MSG the same? I just saw that you found the widescreen code for that. I thought I'd ask.

What I found so far:

I'd be find with just the 3rd person camera being in widescreen and the first person camera staying at 4:3 ratio. I know the Metal Gear Solid widescreen code you find has issues with the first person camera. Unless there is fix I don't know about.

I did not quite understand what you meant. What kind of deterioration in quality are you talking about?

quality drop means dropping some pixels on the X axis
