No, there is a snapshot in each and every configuration dialog of the emulator and you posted the one with the plugins list. Anyway it's obvious the game has problems since it improved with full clamping so I guess your best bet is use that and try using software mode of GSdx after you get past the crash point in hope it fixes the graphical glitches.

Software mode didn't do anything different.

The exact same error occurs in Samurai Warriors 2 Empires, but only when you perform a true musou or a chain musou, but it doesn't completely crash.

Problem persists as of pcsx2 r5326 on Japanese version (Shin Sangoku Musou 4 Empires). Game looks and plays fine until the the actual level begins, then the game freezes but pcsx2 doesn't crash. Tried various VU/EE claming modes, turned off hacks, but no luck. If anyone has found a solution please post it

Just wanted to give a head's up that as of the most recent iteration of PCSX2 (SVN 5593) this game seems to work. I've been playing for 2 hours now through the Yellow Turban Rebellion story and haven't had any issues.
