Parappa the rapper 2 weird rectangle

I tried playing parappa the rapper 2, and whenever i go into a stage, a weird rectangle in the top left corner appears.
It turns into a black noodle animation sometimes, whenever a character goes in front of the rectangle, it is over the black rectangle, not behind it. 
how do i fix this?
it appears sometimes when i go to bad, and sometimes it just appears. whenever its awful, the rectangle becomes a noodle texture but blends into the background, everything else is behind it and only shows parappa or the instructor

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
