Patching installation for pcsx2
#1
Hello everyone, I downloaded pcsx2 0.9.6 in order to have this great advantage of playing my ps2 games on my pc (since I've lended my own ps2 at a friend of mine)

I wanted to try on playing Shadow of Colossus..
So I ended up watching this video on youtube!
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgyXToPKnMA

From there I noticed that he used these patches in order to run the game:
-GSDX 1.8 SVN 752 SSSE3
-P.E.Op.S SPU2 1.9.0
-SSSPSX PAD 1.6.0
-Linuzappz ISO CDVD 0.7.0

I looked all over pcsx2's website, but I couldn't find any of them!
Are these the only patches that will make my computer run this game?
Or could I use any other (new)patches to run it?
my specs are:
-Pentium® D
-CPU 3.2GHz+3.2Ghz
-2 GB RAM
-GeForce 8800 GTX.

Thanks in advance for your help and time! Smile

1 - those aren't patches but plugins you will find in december plugins pack
2 - Just give up. Your PC won't be able to handle Shadow of The Colossus anyways.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

First these aren't 'patches' PCSX2 isn't a PC game or anything. These are plugins, each of them responsible for another area of emulation.
The latest PCSX2 beta and plugins are available from our beta section here: http://pcsx2.net/downloads.php?p=publicbeta
Although I have to warn you that Shadow of the colossus is one of the most demanding games and your processor, while clocked high, is way slower than a Core 2 Duo so you won't get good speeds with it
