Pcsx2 1.4.0 perfoming worse then 1.2.1 on my System

your realize your messed with EE/VU in 1.2.1 where is 1.4 is at defaults right?

Yup the 1.4 is at default values. I've tried tweaking 1.4 for an hour but still no go... It performs worse than 1.2.1 no matter what i choose , i've also tried OpenGL but it also performs badly... I've come to realise that maybe it's the laptop , it's not strong enough

yes well you also have realize 1.4 is more accurate then 1.2.1 so probably need more power to get same speeds. which would explain why is slower too

The best way to compare the two would be to restore 1.2.1 to its defaults and 1.4 to default then see how they perform differently, but yeah 1.4 will likely be a bit slower and heavier on the graphics front at least
