Why do you use
Code:
root#
?

I don't see what use it is. I never use it.

EDIT:
Is this an Intel-based iMac or?

EDIT2:
You do use Snow Leopard or Leopard, not Lion, right?

Root# comes up after entering password. Intel, 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.

Then I'm afraid I'm a blank slate on this subject, I have absolutely NO idea what is causing it. Sorry.

Wait, try to replace the info.plist with this one
info.plist
It is my info.plist, works fine for me.
You place it in the pcsx2.app file, under Contents.

Im sorry a part of the problem is my own unfamiliarity with these files/terms. How do I go about replacing this?

You find pcsx2.app and right-click on it, then select "Show package contents", Open the folder called "Contents" and place the info.plist inside there.
