Pcsx2 wont start "thread failure" please help :(

jesus christ - i think i have solved it...... Its the date!

Somehow, i sure as hell didnt set it as this but my year was 2061. I try PCSX2 and it gives the thread error.... I wind the date back to 2021 May 15th and try again, it works..... ?!?!?..

Any year up to 2037 is fine, click over to the year 2038 and it gives this error!....

Eh, why you put future date in the first place? If you put the current date, it should be no issue launching the game from PCSX2.

Next 10 years will see PCSX2 1.6.0 become obsolete when replaced with newer version in future where 64-bit version is the primary thing.

And yes thats what im saying, i changed it back and it works. Dont you find it interesting why it doesnt work when its any year past 2037?. Has to be the 32bit thing as youve illuded to. Anyway, ths problem/solution is now up online to help any other weirdo with this problem as it had stumped everyone!

32 bit is limited it will overflow and ***** itself.

64 bit can go till the year 219,250,468

And...that's why 64-bit PCSX2 development is crucial although they have to find the solution for problematic gsdx software mode in windows 64-bit environment.

Every 32-bit app have its lifespan, it can be used until 31 December 2037.
