Pcxs2 won't save my configuration settings for controller

Like every time I assign the keys I want and click OK, the settings I chose just disappear. Everything else is configured and running properly, the game I have actually works but the controller just keep losing it's settings whenever I try to confirm it.

How do I make it so that I don't have to configure the program each time I start it up?
