Performance Loss for Champions of Norrath
#1
I've recently set up my favorite game, Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest, on v1.5.0-dev-3138 using the tested configuration listed for Windows 10 on the wiki (https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Champions_of_Norrath) and have had a superb experience. It was a shaky start because I didn't know how to configure the emulator for the best performance, however since using the tested settings I've been playing between 50-60 frames at 1920x1080. By now I've played all the way to Act III, and am currently at the story mission to find the Horn of Ill Omen by means of a series of broken portals, so it's been a number of hours with no issues.

I do have some cheats enabled via the .pnach file, one of which is a widescreen patch.

As of this morning I can't seem to get above ~25 frames at any point in the game, not even in the character menu. The only time I see higher frames (~45-60) is the initial loading screen after the fast boot. None of my setting have changed, nor my files or their locations. I've been poking around the internet and have come up short on just about everything. Any help would be appreciated.

Attached is an image of my GSdx configuration and the console log from the last boot I ran up to the menu.

.txt   15frames.txt (Size: 14,42 KB / Downloads: 17)

Edit: I am a proper dingus and didn't realize that my system was being throttled by the power settings I changed due to recent travel. Run just fine plugged in.

You might find some parts of the game (the UI and dark areas in particular) look a bit nicer with Accurate Blending set to None.
I think Skipdraw is unnecessary.

^Those TLB Misses could cause problems at some point, you might want to re-rip your ISO.
