So I managed to get persona to run pretty smoothly with only one problem, EVERYONE looks bald! I've been looking around on other forums with the same problem but there all for PC. If anyone can let me know what plugins i need or where to get them that would be great!
Here are my specs:
Macbook Pro 2010 still on Snow Leopard
2.4 GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce 320M
Also, wold pcsx2 run smoother on lion or mountain lion?

Lion & Mountain Lion both have improved graphics drivers for NVIDIA/ATi versus Snow Leopard (Apple provides support updates for Snow Leopard but some new OpenGL extensions were only added with Lion+).
As for Persona 3 FES, I'm curious what you're settings are. (I'm running PCSX2 0.9.6 Mac on my 2009 Macbook Pro.)
Try the graphical hack "no log Z".
On 0.9.6, Persona 3FES's geometry simply isn't rendered well (plenty of clipping/Z-artifacts). But it sounds like you're missing whole parts of models and scenery, and I've only noticed that when I forget to enable the No Log Z fix.
If you can get it to work on the 0.9.7 Mac alpha, then you can give *me* tips. I can't get past the first scene without crashing no matter how few hacks or how safe the presets are.
