Persona 3 FES No input at all

Hey! 
I am a real newbie at all this stuff and just got my emulator (PCSX2 1.6.0) working a couple of days ago to play Persona 3 FES. 
I played it just last night for 5-6 hours and it worked like a charm! 

But today when I was going to play again none of the inputs are working in-game. Nothing happens when I try to use either the controller or keyboard/mouse. I can't skip the intro and I can't work the main menu in-game either. None of the buttons do anything both on the controller or the keyboard. I have tried changing a bunch of settings but nothing seems to work. I'm just stumped since it work flawlessly just yesterday and I hadn't changed any of the settings before I tried playing today. I'm at a loss and just don't know what to do or how to fix it. 

If anyone could help than that would be greatly appreciated.

I tried that now and it's still not working. I haven't added any new .pnach files either. It is just as it was when it was working but now I can't use any inputs

Yeah I kind of resigned myself to the fact that I would probably have to start over. Guess I'll try to start from scratch sometime to see if I can get it to work then.
