Persona 3 FES fps low 30's

I'm sorry for contributing to another P3 thread,
I know there is thread upon thread on this game
but I've been through one thread after another tweaking my PCSX2 settings to no avail all I seem to get is the frame rate hanging between 31 and 35 which makes it sound like i'm watching some school drunken frat party with their slow slurry voices in-game

My PC
Intel Celeron ® CPU 2.80GHz http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Will-PCSX...puter-copy (Will work, but very slowly, possible problems)
512 RAM (running game booster to shut down programs not needed to save ram)
ATI Radeon 9550/X1050 Series
OS - XP

I'm using PCSX2 0.9.7 (r3113)
           
EE/IOP
round mode - chop/zero, clamping mode - none, flush and denormals both ticked
VUs
MicroVU on both

I've experimented with all the speed hacks with no luck, so at the moment I have none on.
And I also tried the persona game fix too

Any help would be greatly appriciated

honestly, I think you maxed out what you could get from those weak specs...
I' don't think you'll be able to get better.

I was hoping not to hear that and someone would bring forth a miracle cure ^ ^
I know I need a serious upgrade of this system,
the only thing half decent is the graphics card.
Guess I have to scrape together some cash and update it or just buy a new system
either that or I could do an A-Team on it with a few toilet rolls and some sellotape to turn it into a beat

you can use zerospu its faster but worse in other staff

also supervu is faster in some cases but less compatible

experiment as much as you can with speedhacks but use as less as you can

also sometimes the "allow 8 bit textures" gives or takes fps try it out. but for sure you MUST upgrade your whole pc. 600 dollars/euro if you are smart can buy you a very good pc

I've tried a combination of zerospu and supervu with the persona game fix activated still was hovering around 30's
and also tried the texture on and off same again

I'll try to convince my brother to let me use his system
Hope that it passes minimum requirement (fingers crossed)
