Donovan sorry but a haswell weak for pcsx2? a haswell is everything but weak, yes the IGP (Intel HD Graphics is slow and not state of the art) but his CPU is more then enough for PCSX2. Okay it runs on 1.6 ghz which means it is probably or a Notebook/Laptop or he has something turned on in his bios that lowers the CPU's speed to save energy. Eitherway Persona 3 isn't all that heavy, even so with some enemies you might experience a major slowdown.

It's an Ultrabook CPU. It's a dual core and it's max clock's are 2.6GHZ.

It only scores 1406 in the single threaded benchmark.

So yes, this particular haswell is definitely considered weak for PCSX2.

So besides installing the newest version of my GPU driver. Is there any other way that this problem could be fixed? When using software mode I see a significant drop in fps. Oddly enough the more I have played, in the last several days, the less the fps has dropped. But there are parts like conversations between character where it drops between 20-30 fps.

Okay, but until my issue occurred, persona ran well, I had no issues with it. The only thing that I could think of was the sound, it lagged a little. However it was such a small issue I never bothered to fix it.

Try the new driver and we can go from there. If could also be a heat issue, if it's been progressively getting slower over time, it could be the fan in your ultrabook is cloging up with dust

Its up to date, I didn't even have to update. I checked on the site linked and my laptop was up to date, also this laptop is new only a two months old I don't think the fan could clog up in so little time. Also I mean't that it has been getting faster over time.

Set your laptops power plan to performance and make sure it's plugged in while playing.
