Persona 3 Fes floor bug
#1
I just installed 0.9.6 and I'm trying to play P3Fes on it. Everything seems to runs fine except for the minor graphical bug in the first floor of the dorm room where the floor flashes different shapes and colors.

I know that this problem was present in the older versions but has anyone manage to fix it?

Plugin: GSDx 890 SSE41 0.1.14 (default settings)

Specs:
Windows 7/Windows XP(tried on both)
C2D E8500 3.16 GHz
9800GT 512 MB

Sorry if this is the wrong section and thanks for reading.

Try the latest PCSX2 beta and activate the "VU clip hack" fix and in Windows 7 use GSdx with the Direct3D10 Renderer and you shouldnt have much glitches anymore. In fact just using Direct3D10 mode should get rid of most of them.

I think using the beta version fixed it. However, I couldn't find the VU clip hack in any of the menus, can you point towards it for me?

Sweet, thank you.

[edit]

Found another problem. I'm about hour and a half into the game now and I'm able to go to tartarus now. Anyways, numbers(HP, dmg, exp) in battles sometimes jump around and in some instances, the numbers become gray squares.

[edit 2]

I've attached a image as an example. Note the SP and HP.

Alright, I'll try that. Then again, I don't think I'll continue playing P3 on PCSX2 since the game crashed on me last night randomly. I guess I'll have to stick to my trusty PS2. Thanks for the help anyways, guys, appreciate it.

try newer version of pcsx2 than 0.9.6, might be some speedhack that does that or the round modes if they are not on chop/ Zero, did you tryed using SSSE3 on that part heard there were some problem somewhere with SSE4.1, post screen of all your configs of Persona 3 so i can see if there anything abnormal with it.

I'm currently using beta 1474. I got the number glitch fixed thanks to your advice but I'm not sure why the crash happened.

I've attached the screenies below, let me know if you require more information. Even though I don't mind playing on the PS2, I would love to play on the PC. Appreciate your help, thanks!

Was it only 1 crash or several ones?
