Persona 4 crashes

hello guys .
I have a Problem with the pcsx2 0.9.7 and Persona 4 .
It freezes randomly . so I'm in the Dungeon where the fog is , and you can't hit the stranger at the beginning. So , please help .

Is it freezing or is it crashing? There's a fairly big difference.

And by freezing do you mean the emulator is freezing? Or do you mean the PS2 game is freezing? That is, the music is still playing, but you can't move or do anything.

I had a problem with the latter once during Persona 4, and it was fixed by changing the rounding mode. If PCSX2 is actually crashing, then there is something worse going on.

So , now it is running in hardware mode and new version
no crashes , no slowdowns .

I hate this game now. xD
Now I have ONLY slowdowns in random battles .
Any idea how to fix?

besides running on hardware mode, did you already try it with speedhack.
enable 3 option that has (recommended).
for 2 bar on above leave it at default/don't change(slide)to right.
