Well the thing is that there might be a chance that the image you created from your original disc is faulty and produces the error. Use IMGBurn and create a new image of your disc and do it at 4-speed to make sure it won't produce any errors.

use your original DVD and remake your image using imgburn, just as strife advised above

so as i attempted to reinstall imgburn, my computer crashed completely, now the installer flooded my pc with random programs :|

well, i had to restart my computer, then i uninstalled every program i installed, i think its best i avoid imgburn rn cuz it really messed up my system when it happened

imgburn is what we actually use and recommend. and i don't see how it can mess up a system...
whatever, give your original DVD a try first (using gigahertz dvd plugin).
