Persona 4 cutscenes slowdown and crash

So I've recently started playing Persona 4 on PCSX2, I've set it up so it there isn't any lag while playing persona 4. However, whenever the game plays an FMV it slows down alot, and now it crashes and i cant continue in the game. any solutions to this?

my specs are:
CPU  2.4GHz Intel Core i7-3630QM
RAM  16GB
Native Resolution 1600x900
Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GT650M
Video Memory 1.5GB

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Well I'm using version 1.4.0. for my emulation settings, its equivalent to preset 4 while having MTVU checked. i have to gamefixes on, with VU clip flag hack and GsDx switch when FMV appears checked.

did you somehow check the automatic software renderer swicth gamefix ?

weird thing is that you have no sign of crash in your log.
I just hope you didn't follow some random YT tutorial made by some random Kevin...

better erase your inis and start with default settings

Nay, infact i took them from this forum, when i first booted p4 on default settings it was super laggy, thats why i resorted to changing emu settings

hm. yes, didn't see that CPU may be a bit weak in some cases.
a few speedhacks could help a bit, but i'm pretty sure too much will break game.
did you try the same from your original DVD instead of iso ?
