Pixel depth

Question
I've read PS2 console using pixel depth 24 bit, why pcsx2 not using 24 pixel depth? The only option to turn it on is by activating AA that built in gsdx plugin.
I'm wondering if pcsx2 has selection option to turn it on, it will be cool. Smile

Because it uses 32 bits, since is what most video cards support? Smile

PS: Just curiosity, where did you see this related to AA?

Yes, but 32bit provides better accuracy and is easier to work with.

Why not let them 24 bit? or giving option selection between 24 or 32 bit like psx plugin which has selection 16 or 32 bit?
