I legally own many PS2 games. I'd like to play directly from the disk if possible. How can i do this?

Thanks.

change from iso to plugin in the cdvd tab. Then pop in your disc and go to system, fast boot, or you can use full boot.

Why would you want to do that though, it's slower than playing from ISO lol.
Unless you're limited on space on your HDD... in that case I'd just delete the porn, [excess files] to make some room.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

But then you'd have to find the [excess files] on the internet all over again. I play most of the games from DVD too, and most of them aren't slow. If you want to play a game very often and for long periods of time then it will be worthwhile to make an ISO.

I don't have porn. I have software source and database files. I'm a programmer. Tongue2

I don't have tabs. I apparently can't get past First Time Configuration without selecting a bios rom. I assumed that was the game, maybe not?

You need to extract the BIOS rom from your Ps2 to play games on PCSX2.
"Get the BIOS file from your Playstation 2 console. This is not included with PCSX2 since it is a Sony copyright so you have to get it from your console. Visit the tools section to find out how to do this."

Ooo. Hacking fun. Cool. ^_^
How do I go back to the language selection (i.e., "First Time Configuration")?
Never mind.
