Playing without SSE2?

Hi,
is there ay possibility to play with a cpu which doesnt support SSE2 or higher? (I have AMD Athlon xp 2400+)...

I don't think so. And even if you could there is no way you could achieve a playable speed even with all speed hacks. Sorry.

To expand on the previous post, no you aren't going to get acceptable speeds on a CPU without SSE2 since the recompilers require it.

As the recompilers are the most critical portion of the emulator in terms of speed, you're not going anywhere without them. You can certainly try by disabling them all under Config -> CPU options (or something similar) but you're going to get 5 FPS, tops.

try and find an old pcsx2 0.9.4, that didnt require SSE2, and is probably your best bet.

and where can i find an old ver?
i only know sites where the newest is uploaded... (what is logic ^^)

hm.. if no one can help me i´ll have to find another way so dont worry ^^
