Pnach cheats and Final Fantasy XII

Hi guys. First post here so a free beer for everybody .

Cutting to the chase: I'm using the newly PCSX 1.0. I'm trying to run some cheats via a pnach file that i created (well not really, i just copied a pnach "script" i found here in the pnach thread, pasted it onto the wonderful PCSX2CE to create my own pnach), saved the file and now i do have the 0779FBDB.pnach file ready to do some damage.

...problem is no damage is done haha. Basically i saved that file onto the "Cheats" that resides in the root folder of the emulator but when i boot the game the console debug of the emulator says

"No cheats found. Resuming execution without cheats..."

and as you can imagine the cheats doesn't load. I did put the right CRC (i checked it onto the console of the PCSX and it's the same as the pnach file is named, both the cheats and the iso are NTSC so... what in the hell is going wrong? Ah the cheat list is the following:

Please double check whether it is really 0779FBDB.pnach or 0779FBDB.pnach.txt

i did already but it's just a .pnach . I went to organize >folder and search options > view tab and i toggled the tick on "Hide extension on known type files" already ... that's why i'm really bugging myself with what the hell is wrong haha.

You could just use a Save Editor.

If you look in the Homebrew forum, there's one there (it says it's only for IZJS but there's an identical one for the NTSC/PAL version as well).

If you're dead set on using a .pnach, you could ask vsub. He's pretty damn good at making them.

1.Those codes look so random(like they are taken from everywhere and placed in a pnach file)and I'm not sure if some of them are even correct(using the correct type)
2.PCSX2CE output only raw codes and only use the "extended" format,so not all of those codes are converted with PCSX2CE
3.The cheats may not be loaded because:
a)Wrong CRC
b)wrong extension(CRC.pnach.txt for example)
c)You are running pcsx2 from shortcut\bat file or some command line that set the "Start in" location not to the pcsx2 directory.
The cheats folder is the only directory that is not specified where it is so pcsx2 search for the folder where the "Start in" location in shortcut properties,from where the bat file is executed or the command line.
Are the cheats if you place them into the cheats folder in the pcsx2 directory,start pcsx2 directly from the exe(pcsx2.exe)and enable System=>Enable Cheats
