Possible "Bugged" Blood Omen 2 !
#1
currently use 1.0 r5350 , though i have dl and pasted r5464 pscx2 still stick to r5350 according the log entry !

Why is that ?

Anyway, i have been playing BO2 for an couple day's now....
Untill now everything works decent (appart from the minor graphical glitches)

Clamping mode = Normal or extra+preserve doesnt help to get rid of those glitter ..

Sometimes i get an kijnd of COOL rainbow effect in Kains mist trans though...
I like the glitch for that part Biggrin

NOw, for the first today i get the following errors and finaly freez :

I do use pretty much the default setting in pscx2 = no GPU patching / cheating ... since that caused several crashes (pscx2 stopped working kind Glare)

Dvd ripped with imageburn thoug !

Woud it help if i use an virtual drive to mount the iso and use plugin cd/dvd to read it instead..

weird , ocures for the first and iam at chapter 5 !?

Is there any work arround to fix this unexpected termination ?

I sure do hope it isnt another Memcard issues like previously !!!

Thank you kind sir/mam ...

Hell. That game was buggy on the PS2. Can't imagine what else would happen with a emulator.

Buggy on ps2 realy ? like what did happend for instance ?

Haven't had my PS2 hardware long enough to play this game on it...
Iam glad i kept my ps2 game collection though..

Damn, i love the first legacy of kain on ps1 which i have played through once again an couple weeks back on my psp connected to TV + motionjoy + wireless DS3 Biggrin

I sure hope the vita will have good backwards compatiblity with ps2 Blush
If that will happend in the not distant future that is..i hopeRolleyes

Have to say .... 1 thing that Sony did an VERY GOOD job at is emulating all those wonderfull ps1 games on an psp "266mhz" ← (um this..) device WOOT !! Well... 333mhz if its hacked lulzz

All games i have converted/ported to psp run just PERFECT from START TO END hands down.

Well some did froze at first, but i managed to fix that too by tweaking game id and what not.

But iam especialy gald i never EVER have had graphics glitches or framerate drops or anything... else so far on my psp Happy...

pscx2 as it is great as it may be, still have some graphical glitches / slowdown in games such as..

well Blood omen 2 (windows in houses or crates garbled) , and Suikoden 3 (which is NTSC/jap only) the background acts weird while performing magic rune skillz or combo attack !!

BUt the gorgeous Polished Graphics makes it all worth while ..
Especialy Final Fantasy XII at 3x native just looks kewll.. Cool

Only thing i cant seem to fix in FFXII is in movie scene my screens flicker black screen once every 10 seconds or so... have tried nearly everything...

From changing resolution , to disable textures , to changing clamping to window mode !!!

Maybe its the interlaced thing that is set to default (auto) !!

i dunno,

Oh well...; one day...

...now BACK To ... Vae VICTIS Muahaha Laugh
