Seems playable in ver 0.9.7, with just the right settings!

To get past the Namco logo, enable the Skip MPEG hack. To get good FPS, use superVU recompilers. To get readable text, use software mode. I think that covers everything

Alright tested out some more games, I was generally able to get good FPS on them... Here are the results!

Note: all emu settings are default on v097 unless otherwise noted. Plugin used was gsdx d10 441... or something like that... CPU: i7 @ 2.67GHz; GPU: Radeon 4350

40-50fps with VU steal 3 and mVU hacks... Not perfect, but playable. Try software mode to make the cutscenes psychedelic, it's awesome

60fps at x2 res easy. Make sure 8 bit textures are off or it'll look like crap

Emulation settings:
EE/IOP and VUs: everything set to default
Frame Skipping: disabled
Video settings: GSdx10(hardware), 1024x1024 res, texture filtering enabled, allow 8-bit textures enabled, skipdraw hack set to 1 (ask me if you don't know how to enable it)
SpeedHacks: ALL speedhacks enabled
Controllers: Pad1 set to guitar (PS: do not enable guitar hero 2 hack)

Status: Playable (Framerate: ~40 without speedhacks, ~70 with speedhacks)

PCSX2 configuration:
PCSX2 0.9.7 r3878 beta
SpeedHacks: EE Cycle rate 2 (x1.5 whatever ), INTC Spin, Wait Loop, mVU Flag Hack, VU Cycle Stealing - moderate

Plugins:
Graphics: GSdx r3693 SSSE3 -- D3D10 (Hardware), Scaling: 3x, Skipdraw=3
Sound: SPU2-X, Catmull-rom Interpolation
Controllers: LilyPad 0.10.0

Other settings on defaults.


System:
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 @3.9Ghz
Graphics: Geforce 9600GT
OS: Windows 7 x64

Need to boot in software mode (F9) until a race is loaded so you can get the skys showing.
Need to do "System > Boot CDVD (Full)" to get widescreen mode (I guess the widescreen mode needs to be set in the BIOS first).
Prefers the 60Hz mode.
