Does it have to be 60fps? My system can't sustain stable 60fps but it could easily run it at 40 or 45. Could this patch be converted to 40 fps instead of 60?

Older games run at probably 30 fps capped, so it wouldn't be a significant improvement

It also maybe just fps limit with the framerate being variable, not locking you in 60 fps and slowing down the game instead of reducing framerate

The patch I quoted allows MGS3 to run at 60 fps so what's the point of bringing up some older 30 fps capped games?

I just meant that MGS3 probably ran at 30 fps, so that making a patch for it to run at 40 wasn't worth it but if it is for you, then sorry, I can't help you at all

Dude, the patch is already done. It uncaps the framerate from 30 to 60 but I want to set the cap lower - to 40-45 (which is a 33-50% increase from the default 30 so how can you say it's not worth it?).

Use that 60 FPS patch, then go to Config > Emulation Settings > GS > Base Framerate adjust: 75% for 45 FPS, or 67% for 40 FPS.

It doesn't work like that. Doing so just introduces slow motion and sound stretching.

Don't know if these were already posted, but are the codes for "James Bond 007 - From Russia with Love" (2005, US version). I tested here and they are working.

I would like to add a request for Resident Evil 4 (US version), a PNACH with all the available codes.
