I have improved considerably the Graphics in Silent Hill 4 (PAL) but work is not finished
so i cannot publish the Patch.However i have also the "No black Borders"-Code for PAL.
I have converted the "No black Borders"-Code from the PAL to NTSC Code.You asked
for Widescreen but maybe you are also interested in no black Borders Code.I have not
the NTSC Game so the following Code is untested but you can report back if it is working or not.

Similar Improvements which you will find in the Patches for Haunting Ground on Page 344 and for Silent Hill Origins on Page 335 which are:

- Enhance Game Sharpness
- Enhance Game Brightness (ONLY THE BRIGHNTESS WITHOUT THE FOG EFFECT!)
- Disable extra Light on Characters but enhance the real RGB Brightness which reveals all Characters real Faces
  and overall appearance
- No World Renderer and also no Renderer if Henry looks out of the Window.So everything is much better visible Outside
- Completely disabled Blur-Effect for Fore- and Background
- No Noise Effect
- No Body Shadow on the Ground of the Characters

I achieved all these Things also on Resident Evil 4 (PAL), Clock Tower 3 (PAL), Devil May Cry (PAL), Project Zero 2 and 3 (PAL).
But Codes are not entirely correct, they have some Sideeffects.

ok so this money code for Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne ntsc-u is the only thing i've been able to get working (apart from a stat boosting one that i disabled) 
i really want to get an exp multiplying code working but i've yet to figure out a way to get those to work. i've tried different device codes

I just wanted to post this code for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army SLUS_214.31/BD9EAA7A. It's to disable and/or enable random battles. The original code doesn't work but the joker command that the original code used was right. All I did was find the value to not have any encounters and reuse the same joker command as the original. As reference, I've included the original code to show changes that I've made.

No, the PAL Codes for SH 4 are definitely not compatible with the NTSC Version.
