Post your PCSX2 cheats-patches here!
I noticed there's no .pnach files for "The Legend of Spyro" Trilogy.

..so i thought it was right to share the cheats made for myself. (using cheat engine)

The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

i didn't create a .pnach file because of the working buttons combination which the game already have.

Hello does anybody have the code for Digital Devil Saga 2(D382C164). I only need two codes: one to get Pinaka (rare drop from Parvati) and one to get Certificate from Jack Frost. I spent hours in game with no luck from both of em and i spent hours online looking for individual SP items code with no result as well. Thanks

erm.. sorry to bother you, but its in relation to your WSG2 codes. im trying to use the one to modify your recorded BC kills ( due to having no desire to grind them up to 999 AGAIN, doing it on my PS3 before it died was bad enough >.<), but im having issues getting PCSX2 to notice the .pnach file. do i need to give it a specific name or somesuch? i checked, its for the correct version of the game.

*edit* nvm, did some fiddling around, named the patch after the games crc and did a quick load and it worked, feel like an idiot >.<

Search. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Post-your...#pid400182

It has all the codes you want (and many more) in a better format, and also available for every character.

PCSX2 doesn't have an internal FPS counter (ingame FPS), situation that makes very difficult to find 60 FPS codes for games, but lucky me I still found it for Metal Gear 3 Subsistence and of course you can see a HUGE difference!

Code:
gametitle=Metal Gear Solid 3 - Subsistence Disc 1 (Limited Edition, SLUS-21359)
comment=Force 60 FPS
patch=1,EE,001D5AD8,extended,00000000
patch=1,EE,001D6DB8,extended,00000001
patch=1,EE,001D6DBC,extended,00000000

Code:
gametitle=Metal Gear Solid 3 - Subsistence Disc 1 (Limited Edition, SLUS-21359)
comment=Force 30 FPS
patch=1,EE,001D5AD8,extended,00000040
patch=1,EE,001D6DB8,extended,00000002
patch=1,EE,001D6DBC,extended,00000001

We all know that this game needs a powerful CPU to achieve full speed at 30FPS, so with the 60 FPS code enabled we need a MUCH MORE powerful CPU.

According to some testing, the EE needs at least 20% overclock to work perfectly or else the emulated PS2 can't reach 60 FPS.

The main speed problem with the game are the cutscenes, that's because the game runs at 60 FPS ONLY while these are playing. That's why I included the 30 FPS cheat (gameplay original values), with this code enabled the cutscenes are a lot less CPU demanding and the game is more enjoyable with not so powerful hardware.

Very nice find, you should post that in the Widescreen patch topic as well. I wish I knew how to find out how to get it to run at 60 FPS, but I'm not really sure when to start searching for changed values and stuff. We could make more 60 FPS patches that way for other games as well maybe.

Did the way PCSX2 load cheats changed?
I'm using "PCSX2 1.3.1-20150303095439 - compiled on Mar 3 2015" and it loads all cheats inside a pnach file, even the disabled ones (marked as "patch=0").

patch=0 does not disable the code. It just runs the code at the start once that way.

To disable it you have to comment it out.
Code:
//patch=1,EE,00000000,extended,00000000        -- Code fully disabled
patch=1,EE,00000000,extended,00000000          -- Code always active
patch=0,EE,00000000,extended,00000000          -- Code runs once at start of game

Oh, I'd swear it was like that some time ago! Anyways, thanks for the clarification Ryudo.
