Could someone help me? I'm trying to play Ico but the blur is brutal. I found this video: https://youtu.be/-F0MGUSQfuI which has the blur disabled with a debug code and the cheats in the description. I can't get it to work though. I've got the cheats in both the cheats_ws folder (Which the console registers) and in the cheats folder (which it doesn't.) What am I missing here?
I'm using the US version SCUS-97113 and with the cheat in the ws hack by nemesis2000 in 6F8545DB.pnach. Same in the cheats folder.

It might be a region thing, so there's also this: https://tcrf.net/ICO#Debug_Menu for action replay codes for the US version, but I don't know what to do with it.

Have you tried PCSX2 1.6.0 (https://pcsx2.net/download/releases/windows.html) and the latest development builds (https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/)? Anyway, make sure you have cheats enabled in the emulator and re-check the folder location paths in the emulator. Then try the cheats in the attachment. Look at the file. I have added a short description for you how to use the debug menu. Do not forget to set EE Cyclerate to 130% - 180% in the emulator for true 60 FPS if you want to activate it with the cheat code or the debug menu (but the true 60 FPS can crash the intro and makes certain movements look strange). Oh and if you use the latest dev builds, tick GPU Palette Conversion in the graphics settings and if you use PCSX2 1.6.0, tick Allow 8-Bit Textures and set Mipmapping (Ins) to Off and always set Half-Pixel Offset to Normal (Vertex). Good luck! Laugh

Credits to Maori-Jigglypuff and nemesis2000 for the codes. Smile

Monster Hunter performance only patch (workaround for Capcom dumbness)

Game tends to run at about 30% the speed it is capable of in hardware mode, this patch gets around that without any further tweaks needed.

Patches for:
Monster Hunter [SLUS 20896] (U) [0EF16A99]
Monster Hunter [SLES 52707] (E) [6E8BAF03]

Oh, I found the problem. I put PCSX2 and all the cheats on a separate drive, I wasn't looking at the file path closely so it was still looking in documents. I figured it was just looking in PCSX2's root directory. Thanks, you still helped.
Though now I'm not sure where exactly PCSX2 is storing all of it's data, I was trying to put it on a game drive instead of C.
