I decided to go over some of my japanese games in 0.9.7 out of boredom

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @3GHz
RAM: 4096MB DDR2
GPU: Radeon HD 3870 512MB
OS: Windows 7 x64

PCSX2 0.9.7 r3257
GSDX r3193 Set to DX10 Hardware

Everything else is default.

Status: Nothing

Nothing, Black screen and the log window just repeats this over and over:
vtlb miss : addr 0x10, mode 0 [read]
vtlb miss : addr 0x18, mode 1 [write]
vtlb miss : addr 0x10, mode 1 [write]

Majokko a la Mode 2
Status: Ingame

With GSDX set to hardware mode we have slowdown to between around 25-40fps, horrible graphics glitches and broken text, setting it to software just gives broken text and the occasional slowdown to around 45fps

GSDX Hardware Screenshots:

Notes: The Skip MPEG hack is required to be able to play this game.

Appears to run fine in general, however there are 2 points:
1) as i already noted, the Skip MPEG hack is required because without it the game freezes on the movie that plays after the namco logo appears.
2) when GSDX is set to hardware, the text is broken

Final Fantasy 10 (I know you've seen this 9.82x10^4223 times but its just so playable!)

Post Compatibility:

Playable More than playable - It's 100FPS + all the way through (ranges from 100-150 unless fps is limited).

Post some basic info on your machine specs:

* Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 4.01ghz
* 4096MB (only 3.5gb usable)
* 9800GTX

PCSX2 0.9.7.3113 Configuration
Only posting things that aren't default.

* GSDX10 (SSE4.1)
* EE/IOP Clamping mode FULL
* D3D internal res 2056x2056
* HW Anti Aliasing 1
* No speedhacks necessary - though idle wait timer was checked to get through fights 20+fps faster.

A note about that screenshot: It was taken while anti aliasing was set to 4. The point of it originally was to see what effect (if any) it had, i was comparing it to ingame setting of 0.. I didn't really see much. I guess it's experimental afterall Smile

MotorStorm: Arctic Edge
Status: Playable
Ingame: 40 - 60 FPS
Notes: r3274 the status became ingame, major graphic issues
Somewhere between r3275 and r3295 the game became playable
Crashes so far have occured while:
browsing riders for a new profile (solved by quickly choosing when the selection appears)
toggling between control schemes
selecting cancel when saving a custom paint job scheme

Shadow of the Colossus (hackfixed)
Status: Playable (Almost Ideal with modded GSDX plugin)
Perfomance tips:
60fps on 3GHz CPU with VU Cycle stealing = 2
2x resolution on nVidia 8800GTS...
PCSX2 r3353, GSDX r3296m-best-SotC-fix

I've made a hackfix for GSDX plugin recently... Those of you who visit the corresponding thread here, may already use it... Here's the Intro "as you've never seen it before"... I'm kidding... The game doesn't look exactly like on the real PS2, but at least the sky doesn't look like plain white surface anymore...

And, finally, some of gameplay - the beginning, riding around the temple, first colossus and cutscene after that... In this video you may notice that all effects do work fine, unlike some very old hack/cheat that also disables sword's light, subtitles and all the interface...
