Question
Hey there.

I want to play my PS2 games on my PC and tryed pcsx2 out.
Actually it works too slow and with much graphic bugs (look screenshot):

My PC:
AMD Phenom II x6 1055T @ 2,8 GHz
AMD Radeon HD 5850 - 1GB DX 11
4 GB DDR 3 RAM @ 1333 MHz CL9
128 GB SSD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit SP1
Windows Score is 7,4

My settings for pcsx are default.
For video render i choosed Direct3D11 (Hardware) where i have about 35 - 45 fps ingame. If i choose Software, i only have 25 fps or lower.

Could someone probably help? Or is my PC to slow?
Thx Smile

Your GPU is allright, I know because I have it in my other PC, also running PCSX2.
I'm not too sure about your CPU, though. People in here recommend about 3.2 Ghz minimum.
Try speedhacks. BTW, Ratchet and Clank is (or can be) problematic.

always try the MTVU hack Prototyp, when you have a CPU with 4 cores or more. and they do recommend that you should use atleast a Quad Core that runs at a minimum of 3.0 Ghz for most games, there are always exceptions.

I tryed only Ratchet and Clank 1 and 2 so far. I'll copy tomorow some other games to my hdd and try them out. Probably i have only with ratchet and clank problems.

@ StriFe79: I activated that, but it changed nothing.

That are my settings:

Try disabling "Allow 8-bit textures"...?

some game are just really really bad graphic wise

95% of the games i tried look great, however when i tried Devil may cry it looked like ***** aswell.
it is probally the game file that has the issues, check the game size.

it was the same for me, downloaded DMC1 on 1.1G file and looked like *****, later found a 1.8G and it was with propper graphics

Have a warning for piracy, then.

All you have to do is read the forum rules. That's all.

You received a warning because you admitted piracy, not because you were pirating. As Bositman said, the admins do not care about piracy, as long as the members do not admit it.
