Hello guys i am pretty new with emulators so i desided to download PS2 emulator

i downloaded the full PCSX installer and then requested to first time configuration first tab run good but the second tab bios rom is empty

i have the DUMP Bios file on my USB but i dont think thats the problem

please help me out!

So you dumped your bios from ps2 already. Put the Bios(copy them and paste them) files to a place such as C:Users\Daniel\Documents\PCSX2\BIOS. Then Re-run the PCSX2 and in First Time configuration wizard the bios should show up.

copy/paste the dumped bios file from your USB to the bios folder OR uncheck "use default setting" and use the "browse" button to your USB folder where your bios is located.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Copy the BIOS from the USB and in the second tab of pcsx2 config press 'Open in Explorer' and let the window open. In that windows paste the bios and click refresh list.

Else Re-Dump your BIOS from ps2. The name of bios should appear as scph-xxxxx

did you try to install pcsx2 to something like c:\pcsx2 and run pcsx2 as admin (with right-click) ?
what's the exact name of you bios file ?

the name of the file DUMPBIOS-MASS

Edit:Run as admin not working

i have the file in my bios folder but its keep being empty i have no idea whats the problem

Can you say the size of your Bios file. Just to be sure if its the required bios or not. It should be around 4 MB (round off).

I think I got it.

What you have on your USB is the DUMPBIOS-MASS.ELF.
This is the homebrew you need to use to dump your bios from your PS2. read this guide : http://forums.ngemu.com/showpost.php?p=920366

my bios file is 300kb 0-0

Edit: i am confused now

do i need a PS2? i thought its emulator for PC
